Porky's influence in a few words!

Porky is too often thought of as a doowop d.j. First of all, the term doowop never existed before the early 70's; and second, Porky played MUCH MORE than doowop!

Porky played VGH *vocal group harmony* like The Drifters, The Turbans, etc.

Porky played R&B like Little Richard, Champion Jack Dupree, etc.
